For decades people have had debates about fat in dairy products. Recent studies have proven that full-fat dairy products are healthier than low-fat dairy products. People who consume full-fat dairy products are no more likely to develop heart disease and type two diabetes than people who consume low-fat dairy products. Even though there are more saturated fats in whole fat dairy, current studies have shown that saturated fats have only been assumed to cause heart disease by raising cholesterol in the blood. This is because no experimental evidence has actually ever directly associated saturated fat to heart disease, so therefore full-fat might be a better option than low-fat. What do you believe is healthier?
